What is your role at Greystone?
When you match the right candidate with the right company, there is no better feeling
How long have you been in the industry?
When I completed university, I became registered paediatric nurse. I did this for 16yrs in one hospital and I loved it; but after the pandemic I decided to change tact and put the skills I'd learned to good use in the recruitment industry. One thing you must be able to do as a nurse is care for your patients and their families. You need to be able to communicate effectively and in a tactile manner, be able to demonstrate good listening and remain approachable at all times. My role at Greystone is no different.
Why did you leave traditional recruitment to join Greystone?
I've never worked in traditional recruitment and I wouldn't want to. The ethics just aren't there.
Outside of work what do you enjoy doing?
In my free time I'm a huge fan of the great outdoors. I love camping and taking the dogs up in to The South Downs, although a good boxset doesn't go a miss! I also love live music and theatre and would be super keen to try my hand at amateur dramatics one day.
