I wanted to be part of something professional with leaders that have a clear goal on how to change the perception and process of ‘Recruitment’. Our founders have vast experience in a ‘Volume-based’ environment, enabling them to step back and take another direction in 2016 where quality is the sole focus.

An avid gym-goer attending 5 days per week. I also enjoy running outside when the UK weather is behaving! I love travelling and exploring new cultures across the world and going to the zoo!

I started at Greystone as a Member Relationship Executive in 2019 and was responsible for building and managing strong working relationships with the highest calibre engineers in building services industry. I was promoted to Senior Associate in 2022 where I now continue to develop those relationships but also nurture our client relationships and provide our members with access to opportunities they won't find anywhere else.

I have specialised in client relationships for the past 7 years.

Honestly, I’ve never been interested in traditional recruitment there is so many things wrong with that process! When I first learned of Greystone and their methods I was sold and every day since I’m reminded that role defining is the way forward.

I am a huge fan of being outside, being active and exploring new places. One week you might find me climbing Ben Nevis, the next I’ll be travelling to Cornwall to find a hidden beach to SUP and if you can’t find me, I’m probably in Europe somewhere! Don’t get me wrong, I can also spend hours on the Xbox, eating Domino’s Pizza, you’ll just have to get to know me.

I have been a professional recruiter for over 20 years allowing me to have personal relationships with the key stakeholders at all of the top Building Services Consultancies in our industry.

Prior to Greystone I spent many years leading a global recruitment agency, Matchtech Group. A fantastic company and a period of my career I am immensely proud of. However with the recruitment industry becoming broken I believed there was a better way of recruiting and took the bold decision to set up a first of its kind recruitment consultancy, one built to manage the careers of candidates for life. Many years on, it is great to see the difference our model is making on the careers and lives of our members, and in turn the difference it had made to clients who have benefited from hiring such immense talent. My personal goal is to drive change across the recruitment industry and encourage other recruiters to leave the “stack it high sell it cheap” world behind them.

For me variety is the spice of life and have an ever growing list of hobbies, Golf, Fishing, Tottenham Hotspur, Dog walks, Cooking, Mixology, Poker, Reading, Podcasts, Film, Music, Comedy, Snooker, DIY…. You get the idea, grab me in 6 months and there will be something new I have got into.

What really motivates me is the desire to reach my full potential. Whenever I achieve a goal, I will already have found new and more challenging one so what will be my destination? Who knows, they say its about the journey right?! I am excited to see where my story will take me.

One thing that good recruiters must be able to show is empathy. The ability to connect with human beings on an emotional level is one of the qualities that puts Greystone above the rest, beyond measure. 

When you match the right candidate with the right company, there is no better feeling

When I completed university, I became registered paediatric nurse. I did this for 16yrs in one hospital and I loved it; but after the pandemic I decided to change tact and put the skills I'd learned to good use in the recruitment industry.

One thing you must be able to do as a nurse is care for your patients and their families. You need to be able to communicate effectively and in a tactile manner, be able to demonstrate good listening and remain approachable at all times. My role at Greystone is no different.

I've never worked in traditional recruitment and I wouldn't want to. The ethics just aren't there. 

In my free time I'm a huge fan of the great outdoors. I love camping and taking the dogs up in to The South Downs, although a good boxset doesn't go a miss! I also love live music and theatre and would be super keen to try my hand at amateur dramatics one day.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take

Bodhi is the office dog, he is well an truly part of the team and often asleep under someone's  desk. We believe all offices should have a dog! 

I've been at Greystone and in the industry since I was just a puppy. Simon welcomed me in to the business during it's inception in 2022 and I've been a loyal companion ever since!

I never worked in traditional recruitment and am completely loyal to Greystone's business model and culture!

I love chasing things. Throw me a ball and I will be a happy dog.
